The Agricultural Sustainability Institute (ASI) at the University of California, Davis is seeking an Assistant Professor (tenure track), Pos. #06-15. The position in Economics of Agricultural Sustainability will be in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics. The deadline for applications for this position is 15 December 2006.
Teach and conduct research concerning the economics of agricultural sustainability, and contribute to the new Agricultural Sustainability Institute (ASI). Appropriate areas of specialization include agricultural economics, production economics, industrial organization, environmental economics, natural resource economics, agricultural marketing, agricultural policy and economics of sustainability. The position will carry a fiscal year term appointment in the Agricultural Experiment Station (AES) and will be expected to conduct applied research and outreach of relevance to the mission of the California AES. This is one of 8 new positions being recruited for the ASI.
