The theme of this year’s summer school is “Local development policies and social management: Overcoming poverty and inequality in Latin America.” This Summer School aims to bring together young researchers, scholars and students following a Masters degree or a PhD from the region. It will take place in Salvador de Bahía (Brasil) from 26 February to 2 March 2007. The official language will be Spanish. The programme will concentrate on the following themes: poverty, social management and local development.
