CIP and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT, also a member of the CGIAR) have overall responsibility for the scientific coordination of a four year project which will promote and learn lessons from participatory research methods that can enhance impacts for and with the poor in agricultural innovation systems in Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. The project will be organized by a number of thematic teams which include participatory evaluation and monitoring, value chains, communication and policy. It will be implemented with a range of national partners in the region, with a particular focus on Bolivia where a Science and Technology Policy Unit for Agriculture will be institutionalized.
CIP seeks an accomplished specialist in evaluation and impact assessment as Coordinator of the Research Unit in the project. The Coordinator will have primary responsibility for providing scientific direction in the Unit and across the project.
