The unit of the Bank that acts as the central point for oversight of gender issues in Bank operations seeks an experienced economist to coordinate the implementation of sections of the Gender Action Plan, which seeks to intensify gender mainstreaming in the Bank operational portfolio in the economic sectors, among other duties. Minimum requirements include an advanced degree, preferably a PhD, in Economics or equivalent, and a minimum of five years of relevant work experience, as well as demonstrated experience and publishing in the analysis of microeconomic issues in developing regions.
