This is a 12-month tenure-accruing position (Position# 00012901) in the Department of Agricultural Education and Communication, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, University of Florida, assigned 65% teaching (College of Agricultural and Life Sciences) and 35% research (Florida Agricultural Experiment Station). An earned doctorate with an emphasis in agricultural communication, mass communications, journalism, or closely related discipline is required. Experience and formal study is desired in one or more of the following areas: public relations, marketing, web/digital media, and organizational communication. Demonstrated effectiveness or clear promise in research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is required.
