DEGREE PROGRAM: Master's of Professional Studies degree in International Agriculture and Rural Development with a specialization in Integrated Watersh
The Cornell University (Ithaca, New York, USA) and Bahir Dar University (Bahir Dar, Ethiopia) Masters program consists of a blend of theoretical and practical-based studies designed to develop students' expertise in watershed management and hydrological sciences. Admitted students will attend BDU, where the core multidisciplinary courses for the Masters degree will be team taught by CU professors and BDU faculty. Course content will cross the disciplines of civil and agricultural engineering, crop and soil sciences, natural resource management, and economics and other social sciences. Students practical training will be focused on the adjacent Lake Tana basin.
