The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) is seeking a senior economist to head its Social Science Division (SSD) consisting of six internationally recruited staff and 25 nationally recruited staff. The position, with an initial appointment for three years, will be based at the Institute’s headquarters in Los Baños, Philippines. IRRI supported by the Consultative Group in International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) is a nonprofit, autonomous organization engaged in research and training on rice-related technology.
