The International Water Management Institute (IWMI), requires a highly competent and motivated individual for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow – Political Ecology. The successful candidate will conduct research into changes in water resources management in the Mekong Basin and be based in IWMI’s sub-Regional Office for South East Asia, Hanoi, Vietnam.

IWMI seeks a post-doctoral research fellow to contribute in the economic analyses of water and land resources development and management, and especially on issues aimed at increasing water productivity, groundwater management in South Asia, and smallholder’s irrigation practices. The incumbent will work primarily on IWMI’s bench mark River Basins in India, under the guidance of the Head-IWMI India and Nepal Offices. The position will be based in IWMI’s South Asia Regional office in New Delhi, India/Headquarters at Colombo, Sri Lanka.
