The Water Integrity Network launched the pilot phase of the WIN Small Grant Fund. The fund was set up with the intention of catalysing local actions by civil society organisations (CSOs) to promote transparency, accountability and integrity and to prevent corruption in the water sector. The WIN Small Grants Fund is a small, flexible project fund with relatively rapid deployment.

Micro grant applications may be submitted anytime. Micro grant applications will be evaluated continuously on a first-come, first-served basis until the available funds are committed.

Applications for small grants may be submitted anytime as well. However, there will be two formal cycles for the evaluation of the small grant applications in the pilot year:
First Deadline: 15 March 2008
Second Deadline: 15 May 2008

The objectives and instructions can be downloaded here. The application form here.
