Associate Scientist – Conservation Agriculture, Ref. 2008/15
CIMMYT is seeking a suitable qualified candidate for the position of Associate Scientist to work on Conservation Agriculture (CA) projects being jointly implemented by CIMMYT and CIAT (International Center for Tropical Agriculture) in southern Africa. The position will be based at CIMMYT’s Regional Office in Harare, Zimbabwe, but the selected candidate will be expected to spend considerable periods of time at other research sites in Southern Africa. PDF in Socioeconomics and Impact Assessment, Ref. 2008/16
CIMMYT is seeking an innovative, self-motivated, scientifically outstanding candidate for a postdoctoral fellow position in socioeconomics. The appointment is initially for two years, with the opportunity for extension into a career position. The projects on which the selected candidate will primarily participate are the Drought Tolerant Maize for Africa (DTMA) and the Sasakawa-Nippon Impact assessment; as well as other ex-ante/ex-post research activities. The position will be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with the possibility of work periods in Mexico, and research work in countries of Eastern and Southern Africa.

The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) is seeking a suitable, qualified candidate for the position of Senior Agricultural Economist to lead a research program focused on the determinants of and interventions for in situ conservation of wheat diversity in the Middle East and North Africa Region.
