Analysis of Impacts of Livestock Disease and its Mitigation. Nairobi, Kenya
ILRI seeks to recruit a professional for its Livestock Market Opportunities Research Theme. The Social Scientist will contribute to on-going and new research on:
- Social and livelihood impacts of animal disease, and its reduction through public and private sector action, at household, community and industry level;
- Development and use of new methods for the analysis of social and economic impacts of livestock-related policies at local, national and international levels.
- Analysis of the public and private organisations and actors that influence animal disease control, and identification of incentives and mechanisms to improve disease outcomes
