EMPLOYMENT: IFPRI Senior Research Fellow: Markets, Trade, and Institutions
The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) seeks a qualified candidate to serve as a Senior Research Fellow for a three-year, fixed term, renewable appointment for its Markets, Trade and Institutions Division (MTID). The Senior Research Fellow will lead a team of post doctoral fellows and conduct research on issues related to applied microeconomics in developing countries. This position is based at IFPRI headquarters located in Washington, D.C.
Essential Duties:
- The Fellow will work on empirical micro econometric modeling (parametric and non parametric), panel data analysis, and household and intra household analysis
- The Fellow will help to research and test ways in which applied mechanism design can help to promote factor markets development in developing countries, through the use of experimental economics methods
