AWARDS: 2010 Global Development Awards and Medals Competition

Funded by The Government of Japan and other donors, the competition is the world's largest in development research, conferring $250,000 in grants each year. Nearly 6,200 researchers and development practitioners have participated so far.

The 2010 Competition is on the theme ‘Development Finance.’ Prizes will be awarded to outstanding research in the thematic areas of External Capital Flows, Domestic Resource Mobilization and Innovative Sources of Development Finance (Deadline: October 18, 2010). Also invited are innovative development projects from grassroots NGOs (Deadline: September 9, 2010).
