The Institute on the Environment (IonE) is searching for world-class postdoctoral candidates to fill four new Global Environmental Leadership Fellows positions at the University of Minnesota. Fellows will be part of a novel research and training environment, aimed at preparing the next generation of leaders to address the world's environmental grand challenges. IonE fellows are expected to conduct cutting-edge research to develop solutions to pressing global issues, such as land use and ecosystem management, global food security, freshwater resources, climate change adaptation, emerging diseases and links between population & development. Screening of applications will begin 1 August 2010 and positions will remain open until filled.
