EMPLOYMENT: IFPRI Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow, Senegal-based

The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) seeks a qualified candidate to serve as a Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow in the Development Strategies and Governance (DSG) Division. The Fellow will lead and manage the consolidation and repositioning of the ReSAKSS as the leading knowledge platform for agricultural policy planning and implementation in Africa; full operationalization at country level of the monitoring and evaluation system (M&E); and adequate technical assistance for the establishment and operation of country SAKSS nodes.

ReSAKSS is a large inter-Center initiative led by International Food policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and has been established to support the implementation of the Comprehensive African Agricultural Development Program (CAADP) of the New Partnership for African Development (NEPAD). Three nodes have been set up in Africa at three CGIAR centers in East and Central Africa (International Livestock Research Institute or ILRI, Nairobi), West Africa (International Institute of Tropical Agriculture or IITA, Ibadan), and Southern Africa (jointly between the International Water Management Institute or IWMI and the International Crops Research Institute for Semi Arid Areas or ICRISAT, Pretoria).
