EVENT & PUBLICATIONS: Forest Conflict Session at IUFRO World Congress hosted by RECOFTC

RECOFTC, the Center for People and Forests, is hosting the side session “Forest conflict in Asia: Burning issues and potential solutions” on 24 August at the IUFRO World Congress in Korea. The session will explore conflict drivers, impacts and management strategies, and feature eight new case studies that look at communities in conflict with outsiders.

Two publications will be launched, one an issues paper summing up the regional case-studies and a new bibliography of conflict resources. All are invited to attend, please view the brochure for more details.
