TRAINING: Design & Management of Interactive Learning in Rural Innovation
International Centre for development oriented Research in Agriculture (ICRA) offers a 3-week course focusing on enhancing the competencies to trigger, facilitate, and coach experiential, interactive learning in rural innovation. It aims at strengthening the capacities of learning facilitators within the context of existing innovation processes, programmes, and projects.
The course involves participants in hands-on application of integrated and interactive learning, and
builds largely on the participants’ own experiences. Participants bring to the programme their own
on-going or envisaged projects to initiate and coach interactive learning (case studies) that will be
analysed, reflected and improved upon.
The course targets professionals from research, extension, farmer organizations and private sector, working in rural innovation networks and who are involved in designing, facilitating and coaching on-the-job participatory learning processes.
The next course will be held from 28 March - 15 April 2011, Wageningen, The Netherlands
Deadline: November 1, 2010
