CALL FOR ABSTRACTS: Sustainable Land Use and Rural Development in Mountain Areas
The Uplands Program at Hohenheim University invites scientists, government officers, development practitioners and graduate and post-graduate students to the International Scientific Conference on "Sustainable Land Use and Rural Development in Mountain Areas" held at Hohenheim University, Stuttgart, Germany on 16-18 April 2012.
The Uplands Program is a long-term interdisciplinary research program by research institutions in Germany, Thailand, and Vietnam. The program conducts research on sustainable land use and rural development in Southeast Asia. The institutions include Hohenheim University in Germany, Chiang Mai University, Kasetsart University, Mae Jo University, and Silpakorn University in Thailand, and Hanoi University of Agriculture, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, and the National Institute of Animal Husbandry in Vietnam.
