EMPLOYMENT: IFPRI Postdoc Opportunities in India and Nigeria
IFPRI is accepting applications for 2 Postdoctoral Fellows, one to be based in India and the other in Nigeria.
- The Poverty, Health and Nutrition (PHN) Division at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) seeks a qualified Postdoctoral Fellow to be a core research team member of a new nutrition project, POSHAN (Partnerships and Opportunities for Strengthening and Harmonizing Actions for Nutrition in India). POSHAN aims to build and synthesize evidence on successful approaches to delivering key nutrition interventions through multiple implementation platforms in India. Essential research activities on POSHAN will involve review and synthesis of program successes and failures in India, field assessments of different successful programs, and development of experiments to test innovative approaches to improve implementation or utilization of nutrition interventions. The successful candidate will lead the execution of these and other research activities associated with the POSHAN project in India, and will work in close collaboration with other team members in the New Delhi office. - The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) seeks a qualified candidate to serve as a Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF)/ Research Fellow for a two (2) year, fixed term, renewable appointment for its Development Strategy and Governance Division. The position reports to the director of the Development Strategy and Governance Division and is based at IFPRI-Abuja office located in Abuja, Nigeria. This position is under IFPRI’s Nigeria Strategy Support Program (NSSP), which focused on strategy and policy issues in relation to agriculture, the food system, rural change, and poverty reduction in Nigeria.
