EMPLOYMENT: University of Edinburgh Postdoctoral positions in Agriculture & Rural Development and in Tropical Land Use Change. These positions are part of an interdisciplinary project entitled Abrupt Changes in Ecosystem Services and Wellbeing in Mozambican Woodlands (ACES), which will examine how woodland loss is changing ecosystem services and wellbeing of the rural poor in Mozambique. ONLINE RESOURCE: Land Matrix Global Observatory. This is a tool that promotes transparency in land transactions and supports open data and open source communities focused on land deals. The thoroughly updated dataset allows tracking of large scale land acquisitions, from negotiation to implementation.
