CALL FOR PAPERS: Conference on India’s National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. The three day event will be held on 26-28 March in Mumbai and aims to bring together scholars working on assessing the impacts of MGNREGA along a number of dimensions, including human well-being, environmental resources, labour markets and agriculture. EMPLOYMENT: Postdoctoral position on adaptive governance: water, land use and climate change in an urbanizing agricultural region. A two-year researcher position is available with the Water Sustainability and Climate (WSC) research group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as part of a five-year project funded by the National Science Foundation.
