FELLOWSHIP: Salween and Mekong River Basin Researchers
Young or mid-career university, civil society and government researchers on the Nu-Thanlwin-Salween and the Mekong River basins are welcome to submit proposals on the following research themes:
- water governance;
- healthy rivers;
- river food systems;
- healthy landscape and ecosystems;
- gender and social justice.
There are 12 fellowships are available for each river basin, to be undertaken over 16 months on a part-time basis starting in June 2015. The call is open to anyone, but preference given to nationals from the countries that share the respective river basins. The project is committed to ensuring that female researchers are represented.
